Southwest Michigan Mini Maker Faire

Are you interested in seeing the greatest show (and tell) on Earth?

If so, come check out the Southwest Michigan Mini Maker Faire, Saturday June 1st from 10 A.M – 4 P.M at 200 Broad St. in St. Joseph, MI.

The Maker Faire is a gathering of people with creative ideas and inventions throughout the area. From wand making to laser cut pictures, the Maker Faire is an event for these “makers” to show off their projects.

Joe Rommel, of Berrien RESA helped produce the Maker Faire.

“This is a space for the hobbyist and the professionals that do this on an everyday basis as well as the students that are learning about this as a career path. It is a place for everyone who is interested in entrepreneurship and building things, it gets everyone together in the same place at the same time,” Rommel said.

This is a great opportunity for the community to come out and see what cool and interesting inventions and ideas the area has to offer.

There will be over 25 “Makers” at the Faire, ranging from a self-made blacksmith, to the Watervliet District Library’s Lego Club.

For more Information and the list of all makers that will be in attendance, please visit https://swm.makerfaire.com/
