MANUFACTURING 2021

Welcome to MFG Days 2021 -- a program showcasing today's modern manufacturing and the fantastic career opportunities available.

 

Developed by the South Bend Regional Chamber, Greater Niles Chamber and Michigan Works! and area businesses and educators, this year we feature more resources than ever before to shine a virtual spotlight on local manufacturers and manufacturing career opportunities. The digital format established in 2020 extended the reach of this annual event beyond one day–and to more students, educators, parents and community members–with more than 10,000 page views. Throughout the month of October, we'll provide more resources such as the LIFT Network Career Pathways video series, career pathway information including stats and videos, industry chats, virtual tours, and other tools to help educators and students learn more about the manufacturing workforce.

 

Each October, MFG Days programming provides the opportunity to:

• Learn the truth about manufacturing and manufacturing careers

• Inspire a new generation of manufacturers

• Learn what is being made in our community

• Encourage entrepreneurship and inspire creativity
