History
Michigan Works! Berrien-Cass-Van Buren is the result of a visionary process that spanned several decades and culminated in 1996 with the creation of the statewide Michigan Works! System. Our workforce development programs are now in a locally controlled system that is positioned to respond to local needs.
The Michigan Works! Education Foundation was established in 1980 to supplement traditional workforce development programs, which fall short of satisfying the immense education and training needs of Southwest Michigan youths and adults.
